AMMAVASAI THANAM FOR PRIEST
What the most important things when you do ammavasai prayers or pithru tharpanam? Why our ancestors still not happy even we are doing ammavasai prayers countinuesly? Why when you check with any medium or a spiritual person they say " your munnorgal is not happy"? Why there is chain ill-luck in our family?
ALL THIS IS BECAUSE WE FAIL TO PERFORM CORRECT PRAYERS FOR ANC...ESTORS AND "PROPER THANAM" IS NOT GIVEN FOR OUR ANCESTORS. When you finish putting vilakku or tharpanam you must give correct thanam. Usually we give rice,vegetable,umbrella,se

2- brass container (vengalam kinnam)
3- vilvam leave
4- small bitter guard (pavakai)
5 - agethi keerai
6 - dakshina RM27 (to pleased all the naksthiram)
7 - vegetables 5, 7, 9 item
8 - grains including rice
9 - vettalai paaku
All this put in one tray and offer to priest. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING HERE IS you must ask the priest "tiruptiyah" - are you happy and satisfied? The priest must tell "tiruptiyah iruke" yes I am happy and they should bless you with flower. They represent your ancestors. Then only they will bring the item to do prayers at Lord Shiva.
